Congrats Bradi!!

I am so proud of my little sister Bradi. She just found out that she got accepted into the Masters program in a school out in North Carolina! She will be moving there at the end of the summer :( This school only accepts 15 new applicants a year for their program, and my little sister is one of them!! Even though i will miss her like crazy, i could not be prouder!!

CONGRATS BRADI!! We love you!!

26 Weeks!

Week 26: Air sacs in the lungs form now. Eyes are opening and beginning to blink for the first time. Fetal brain scans show response to touch. If you shine a light on your abdomen, the baby will turn its head, which according to researchers, means his optic nerve is working. Average size: 1.7 pounds, 14 inches.

Healthy Check up!

We had our targeted ultrasound today and we are happy to report that Ellie is growing very well. I was really nervous going into this appointment because it is always scary to think that something could be wrong with the sweet little baby growing inside of you! The doctor was very happy to see that she had all her toes, fingers, and her lips, as you can see below have completely formed. Her brain looks great and her heart is all put together and pumping very steadily. She did say that she has a very full and big bladder but reassured me that there was nothing wrong and it wasn't to big!

After looking at her sweet face I really think she looks like Cj...the nose is definitely the "KELSON" nose. The more i looked at her the more i thought she looked like Cj's little sister Karly...It will be really crazy to see what she looks like when she is finally here! We are so thankful and blessed that Ellie is healthy and happy!!

23 weeks!

Week 23: Bones located in the middle ear harden. (The low-frequency sounds of a male voice penetrate the abdomen and uterine wall better than the higher frequencies of the female voice.) The eyes are formed, though the iris still lacks pigmentation. If born now, baby has a 15% chance of survival. Average size: 1.1 pound, 11.4 inches.

The first half of my pregnancy went by so fast but i swear since we found out it was a little girl, it seems to be going sooooo slow!!! i just can't wait for ellie to come and i still have like 17 weeks left!! ahhhh i dont know if i can wait that long!! We are so excited because we have our next doctors appointment on the 10th and we are having our targeted ultrasound. I am so excited to see her again but a little nervous that they will be checking everything out. I hope that she is growing ok!! Well 23 weeks down, a lot more to go!!

Bear Hugs XoXo...

Yesterday Lise and I both worked half a day and then spent the rest of the day in SLC. We walked around Gateway, did some baby shopping and finally got Lise pants that would fit her and the Ellie Belly. We then ate dinner at the California Pizzeria and headed to the game. We were able to get the Bear to sign Lise's jersey and pose for a picture. To top off a great day the Jazz pulled out their 7th straight win!
