Wow!! It has been way to long since my last post and so many things have changed!! Life is so crazy busy that i can barley keep up { hence no posting since MAY} My photography business has really picked up and I couldn't be more thankful for the wonderful opportunities it has provided for me. I am also still crazy busy teaching dance and loving every minute of it... we are headed to California to compete in April so the studio is a little bit of a mad house!

As for my beautiful family we are growing and changing non stop. Ellie is now 17 months old and basically runs the place. She is addicted to gummy snacks and is talking non stop. She loves to dance and will drag me to the radio just to get her groove on... i love it and can't wait for her to start dance in the summer :) Cj is busy with work and providing for the family. I am so lucky to have someone who works as hard as he does! Hopefully you will be seeing more posts and catching up with the kelsons, but until then love ya!

This past weekend we went to Shalise's Cousin Kolby's wedding and reception down in SLC. They had the reception at the new Zion's Bank building in downtown SLC across from the Temple and it was on the 18th floor, had a awesome view from up there. It's been a long time since we've posted anything, we've both been pretty busy with work and the day to day life. Ellie is getting so big, walking & running, starting to talk, she's like her mom and loves SHOES! She wants them on first thing in the morning once she's out of bed. We are getting to our favorite time of the year though, with Halloween upcoming, then Thanksgiving and the fun, fun time of Christmas. We'll be sure to post more often our upcoming fun holiday events! Hope all is well with everyone!

Thats right i just ran my first half marathon on Saturday and it was amazing! My mom, dad, me and my mom's work office has been training since February to run this 13.1 mile race in provo. I have to say that am not a runner at all but i was so excited to challenge myself with this race. The race started at 8:00 in the morning and the weather was FREEZING...while running the race we endured hail, rain, snow, wind, and a tiny bit of sunshine. But by the time that came out our clothes were soaked and freezing to our skin. I have to say that i am really proud of myself and the race i ran. I beat the goal i set for myself and was so proud to watch both my parents cross the finish line. I can't wait to run my next race and hopefully beat my time.... I am in a ton of pain after the race but my heart is so full with accomplishment!! If you want to check out some fun races that will be taking place this summer go to www.run13.com

Cj and I have been wanting to buy an entertainment center so bad for our house but everything is so expensive and too big for our town house so after spending a week looking at all these " Girl Power...Do it Yourself" websites i have decided i am going to try and build my own :) I know it's going to be hard but with some help from my grandpa i am going to attempt to build this entertainment center...wish me luck and if you have any tips let me know!

The Zoo!

We took Ellie to the Zoo on Friday for her very first time! The zoo is a totally different experience when you take your own kids! She loved looking at all the animals and being pushed around in the stroller all day like a queen! There was a special little monkey that loved playing with ellie...she would slap on the glass and scream at him and he would just sit and watch her and then put his little hand up on the glass! We also got really lucky to see the Giraffes up close..one of them was eating right next to the fence so we were literally 2 feet away from him, ellie loved it! Cj and I had so much fun showing her all these new and exciting things, and Ellie loved it too!

Seriously i love this monkey so much and i can't stop taking pictures of her! The other day the skies were so blue that i grabbed my camera and dressed up my little model to grab some fun little pictures! She is getting to the point where she gets sick of taking pictures so she will ignore me no matter how hard i clap my hands or whistle..lol Here are a few of the fun pictures we captured. Seriously i don't think my poor mom and dad can take anymore :( 2 missionaries and a wedding in a 3 month time span...lol On February 17 we dropped my sister Brooke off to the MTC to start her 18 month mission. She will be in the MTC for 2 weeks and then she is off to Fresno California. Saying goodbye was so hard to brooke. She is my walking buddy and helps me so much with ellie. She is such an amazing person and she is going to a great job on a mission. My mom and I were talking how our family always has a million things at once or nothing.... next summer when my sister and brother are about to come home my other brother will be leaving on a mission!! It's either all or nothing, but it keeps life interesting!!

Ellie's hair is finally long enough to do a little ponytail!! WaHoo :) Today when ellie woke up her little hair was a hot mess, because she pulls on it while she sleeps, so i found a little hair band wanting to just try putting it up in a ponytail... it was a success! It makes her look so old...more like a little girl than a little baby. She is growing up so fast...almost 8 months old!

Ellie has the hands of a piano player, so today while i was at my mom's house I decided to try them out! It's official, Little Miss Ellie is 6 months old! Wow, how the time flies....She is doing so many fun things and i love the age that she is at right now! As you can see she is now sitting up all by herself...eating 2 full jars of baby food a day...laughing like crazy...cries when i leave the room...smiles when daddy get's home from work...rolls over in the middle of the night to sleep on her side...spits out her peas because they are gross...splashes in the tub...throws fits...loves the phone...takes naps regularly :)....and so many more things! I feel so lucky to be the mommy of such a happy baby.

Ellie just went to get her 6 month check up and i have to tell you that i am so proud of my little monkey!! She is right on with all her skills and growing like a weed, even though the doctor said he wished she would eat a little more. She has severe allergy's but is at the age where we can give her medicine...THANK GOODNESS! Last time she got her shots she cried so hard for quit awhile, but this time my big girl let out a little squeal....let tears stream down her face...and STOPPED!! seriously she didn't even cry...she was ready to play with her toy as soon as she saw it. What a tough cookie! I am so blessed to have a healthy baby! I love you ellie belly and these past six months have been perfect!

Ellie had a great first Christmas and was a little more spoiled than i thought! Ellie woke up around 9:00 in the morning and ready to open some presents! As we took her downstairs, with camera and camcorder in hand the first thing she got to play with was her new Star Bright play area. She loved it and didn't want to stop playing to open more presents :) She got a million clothes and a bunch of fun new toys to play with! Cj and I had a blast watching her open her presents....probably more fun then ellie! She ended up playing so hard with her play area she fell asleep underneath it! 2009 Christmas was a success!

Christmas Eve was a BLAST! We started the day by going over to Cj's sisters house for breakfast and open presents with his Dad's side of the family. It is so fun to be with all the kids and watch as they open their presents from grandma and grandpa...Ellie got these fun keys that sing to her when she pushes the button, she loves them! After that we went to grab a few family pictures since Bradi and Corey would be leaving and never to return :( Once pictures were finished we headed to my grandma's house where my entire family was waiting to eat some of my grandma shelba's AMAZING food..yum!! After a nice dinner i was privileged enough to help the Big Jolly Guy A.K.A ( Santa...A.K.A my Daddy) get ready to bring presents to all the little children! My dad was perfect for the role of Santa, and he loved doing it. All of the kids ( Besides Kade) thought santa was a Hit...they all knew it was unlce Jeff though...My little cousin Alexa Said " That's not the real Santa, that's Jeff...that Santa has Jeff's hands." ha ha Kids are so funny, they knew it wasn't santa by my dad's hands :) After santa came and delivered gifts we talked and played games and then went home to await Christmas morning! It was such a fun filled day and i am so glad i got to spend it with my family!

It was such an amazing experience to talk to Jordan on Christmas! He is doing such an amazing job out there in Washington and even though he is freezing his buns off he is so happy! He let us know that he has enough candy to last him until next christmas and he loved all the gifts from everyone. He told us a really sweet story of an older lady who ran towards their car and then threw money into their window while screaming " Merry Christmas" lol He also said that once while they were tracting they came upon a lady who open her door and just stared at them for like 5 minutes. She thought that they were FBI agents so instead of saying anything she just looked at them and said "My answering machine is full" and them slammed the door..how random ha ha overally Jordan misses everyone so much but loves serving the lord and wouldn't want to be anywhere else!!

At the end of August my little sister Bradi went out to North Carolina for school. Little did we know that when she came home for Christmas break she would be getting married to somebody we have never even met. Bradi and Corey met in October, were engaged in November, and married in December. Since they were in the full swing of school and across the country we couldn't take their engagement pictures until the day before the wedding, that gave us only a half an hour to shoot but we ended up getting a ton of cute pictures. Did I mention that I had to edit them and get them printed before the next day for the wedding...crazy kids you almost killed me!

On Sunday we got together with Cj's family for a pajama movie night! Greg, Cj's step dad showed up in his tinker bell pj's, slippers, and robe...it was hilarious!! We were all supposed to bring a treat and everyone ended up bringing a cake! I never make anything, i always buy something but i was feeling ambitious so i made " Better then SEX cake"..it turned out so yummy! We sat down together and watched "Elf" and had a good ol' time! I love Christmas time!

Ahhhh...Jacob Black is sooo Hott!! Whoa baby! I was lucky enough to see "New Moon" twice within 8 hours :) I first saw it Thursday night with my mom and some of her friends, then me and my mom saw it again with my sister, aunts, cousins, and grandma Friday morning! It was so much fun and i loved the movie! Of course it was a little cheesy and Bella's acting can be a little over dramatic at times, but that's what you expect and that's why we love it! It was so funny because when we saw the movie the second time the theater was filled with girls young and old, and every time Jacob would take off his shirt you wold hear screams, sighs, and hearts jumping out of their chests and onto the floor ( mine was one of them :) ) Good times! Good Times!

Ellie has started eating baby food! It makes me sad that she is already big enough to be eating baby food, where does the time go? The doctor told us to start with orange baby food that is a vegetable...so we started with butternut squash! She didn't like it at first but she has really grown to love it...this week we tried BANANAS and she really really loves those! So for breakfast she gets bananas and for dinner she get squash! I didn't realize though how time consuming and messy baby food is compared to a bottle though! I love my little monkey!

Ellie is 4 months old!! We just went to the doctors to get all of her immunizations :( It was terrible. She was so happy at the doctors office and she loved hearing the sound of the paper crinkling when she would kick her legs all over the place! Then those nurses came in and stabbed my little girl....her legs were so sore after and bruised! She gave me a look of hate as she cried in my arms after. I hate that they have to stick those needles in her legs. Are we not advanced enough to give immunizations in ice cream or something! Other then the pain the doctors office was a success, Ellie is healthy and growing like crazy!

Well Jordan is officially at the MTC! Let me just say that dropping them off on the side of the curb sucked....it was so sad to just basically kick him out of the car :( We were lucky enough to drive down to the MTC as a family ( minus bradi who is in North Carolina) Jordan was really quite the whole way down but it was so awesome to see him dressed up in his suit! We got out in front of the MTC to take a few pictures in front of the infamous "Missionary training center" sign. We all started crying and could barley contain ourselves ans then the lord sent Jordan a friend...There across the street stood CHASE SAXTON!! Chase ran over and gave jordan a huge hug! They have been friends for so long and as soon as Jordan saw Chase, a calm look came across his face and it made the transition so much easier...we helped get his bags out, took a few pictures, gave a few more hugs and told him goodbye! I love my brother so much and I am going to miss him like crazy but i am so glad that we can finally start our countdown!!

Jordan did such an amazing job with his talk on Sunday for his farewell! He has grown up so much within the past few months. I am so proud of my brother and the progress he has made to prepare for his mission. It was so great to see all of Jordan's family and friends who came out to support him. One of Jordan's really good friends, Dallin had his farewell at the exact same time, so they decided to have their luncheons together at the park so their friends didn't have to split up! It turned out so nice :) Thank you to everyone who helped bring food and came out to support our Elder Petersen! Getting Endowded!

It was such a great experience to go with Jordan to the temple the other day to get his endowments out, and I know he loved it too! The whole family came to support him, minus a few due to scheduling conflicts, but i know everyone was so proud of Jordan and his decision to go on a mission! Funny thing though...because Cj wasn't there i was alone, so everyone thought me and Jordan were getting married, that is why we took the " engagement" type picture! ha ha After the Temple my grandpa treated us to ice cream at FARRS..mmmmmm! I am so proud of my brother, but i am going to miss him so much!!

Ellie had her first play date the other day! My friend Chelsea brought over her little boy Cayman to play with Ellie and we had so much fun :) Cayman is only 3 days younger than Ellie but there are some differences between the two! Little Cayman has the strongest little legs, and my poor Ellie is like a wet noodle lol Ellie sleeps through the night, but cayman is still waking up a few times a night! poor chelsea :( It was so much fun to see another baby that is the same age as Ellie and see how they interacted with each other! Thanks for the play date chels, we had so much fun!!

This weekend we went to a little pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins! I love Halloween and carving pumpkins is something that i have been doing with my family for years and me and cj started doing it when we started dating! We dressed Ellie up in her little ghost onsie and black and white leggins' so she look festive! Isn't she the cutest :)

Ellie is 3 months old!!

Ellie is 3 months old! She is at such a fun age and i love her so so much! Cj and I just look at her every day and are so thankful that she is a healthy and happy little girl. She is so beautiful and it is kinda making me sad how fast she is growing up :( The biggest differences between now and then are...When we brought her home from the hospital she was only eating 5 mL....she now eats 3 oz during the day and about 5 oz before she goes to bed. She used to only sleep two hours straight..if we were lucky. Now she sleeps from 11:30 pm-8:00 am, eats and then goes back to bed until about 11 am :) Ellie loves her sleep!! She used to poop like every 3 days, Now she is doing it every day..this is the only bad change ha ha She can lift her head up really well and will hold it for a long time if she can watch TV!! She is a TV junkie, no matter what we do she seems to always find it and wants to watch it! I finally had to turn it off the other day so she would finish eating! lol we are terrible parents for letting her watch TV so young, but i know she just likes it because of the colors and movements...hopefully it's not because she is trying to figure out whats going on with "One Tree Hill" or " Gossip Girl", she is to young for that drama! All in all these past three months have flown, and she is growing up so fast that it's scary, but at the same time she is becoming so much fun to play with!!

Right after i had Ellie my phone went crazy..so Cj bought me a new one. I was so sad because i had so many pictures on my phone that weren't saved. Well today we tried to turn it on just for fun and guess what!?!? it WORKED!! i was able to get this picture off and save it before it went crazy again. This picture was taken the morning before i gave birth to Ellie. I remember being big but how quickly i forgot how big i really was! it's so weird to think that just a few months ago my belly was being stretched like that!! lol

Ellie has the worst habit of falling asleep while she is eating...ahhh. No matter how hard i try to keep her awake she just wont wake up. I will get her naked, blow in her face, pinch her little feet and no matter what she will stay asleep! The other day Cj was feeding her and like usual she fell asleep. Even though it makes feeding time a million times longer than it should be she has the most peaceful look on her face, so i still love her!!

As some of you know Cj started a new job last week at Stevens Henager College, so since he is now recruiting for them he had to go hang out at a booth up at Peach Days for a few hours! We thought it would be really fun to go up to Peach Days and see Cj in ACTION so me and my mom took Ellie up to walk around. We ended up having a lot of fun and eating some of the best food. After hanging out with Cj for a few we went to Peach City for dinner and the best shakes ever!! Cj is loving his new job and i am so glad that he only has to drive 10 minutes to get to work instead of 50!!

p.s. Ellie isn't really that fat, but with her head squished in her car seat she looks a little bigger than she is!! i still think she is the cutest!!

Ellie is 2 months old!! She is such a great baby and is so much fun :) She sleeps at least 8 hours a night and is so dang cute! She is smiling and laughing like crazy even though we just found out that she has reflux really bad :( and eczema all over her face and ears...She just got her 2 month old shots and i have to say i have never wanted to cry so hard in my life. Her little scream and tears were the saddest thing i have ever heard. She would be asleep and then shout out with a blood curdling scream. She now weighs 9 pounds 3 oz and is 23 inches long!! I am loving this little girl so much!

This little monkey is getting soooo BIG!! Ellie is almost 7 weeks old and she is all smiles :) She is getting to be so much fun since she has started to make noises and respond to our smiles with a smile back. She has also started to sleep at least 5 hours straight through the night and taking a nap consistently from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm every day!! Life is getting a lot easier and i finally am ready to whip my butt into shape!!

We had so much fun at the Balloon festival this weekend with Cj's parents up in Eden! The wind was blowing so they had to keep taking some of the balloons down, but over all it was so much fun to see them light up at night!! I couldn't believe how cold it was...it's only AUGUST and it felt like October!! I am not ready for cold weather!! :(

My Little Ellis is such a blessing! We blessed her the first Sunday in August, and Cj gave her such a wonderful blessing....we decided to bless her a little earlier than planned because my sister left to North Carolina today, in September my parents will be in Hawaii, and then my brother leaves for his mission on October...so this was the only time the entire family would be together! Ellie is now 5 weeks old and doing great! She is finally sleeping at least 5 hours in a row and smiling all the time. She is loves her mama very much and we have so much fun together! I finally feel like i am getting the hang of it and i am really enjoying being a MOM!! Life has truly changed for the BETTER!!

Cj and I have been married a whole year! Our first Anniversary was August 7th and it was so much fun! We dropped little Ellie off at my mom's house around 9:00 in the morning and headed out for breakfast...FYI IHOP SUCKS!!! Cj then took me to Lagoon for a fun filled day! I havent been there in so long, and after riding some of those rides i felt like an 80 year old women lol After being there for about 4 hours we decided that we were to tired to keep going..sooo we decided to go home and take a nap! I never thought that on our first Anniversary we would be napping...i thought we would be in bed, but not sleeping ha ha ha that just shows that we are still new to this whole parenting thing! After a nice 2 1/2 hour nap we went to Chili's for dinner and then back to Lagoon to ride some more rides! It was so fun to spend the whole day with Cj, but we both missed Ellie like crazy! I am so thankful for my amazing husband and all his hard work! This past year has been crazy, and having a baby has made it even crazier but it has been the best year! I love you Cj and couldn't ask for a better husband!!

Ellie is 3 weeks old :) These past 3 weeks have been amazing, exhausting, confusing, hard, and a million other things...ha ha ha She isn't really sleeping well through the night and it is making it very hard to get things done through out the day. Luckily my mom has had the week off work and has spent the night with me a few times to help out so cj and i can get a tiny bit of sleep. Unfortunatly cj, ellie and i have all had the flu these past few days and it has been miserable. Being sick with a baby is so HARD!!

I am so proud of my brother! He just received his mission call and he is going to Everett, Washington! He is very excited and can now start the count down :) Jordan turned 19 in April but because of an ankle surgery was unable to turn in his papers in until the doctor cleared him. He has been so anxious to fill out his papers and get them sent in so he could get going on this amazing adventure. He will leave October 28 for the MTC and will probably only be there a few weeks! I am so sad to see my brother go, but i know that he will get so may blessings for serving the lord for 2 years!!

2 weeks have come and gone already! Life sure has changed so much and sleeping has become something of the past, ha ha but me and cj are loving every minute of it :) Ellie is such a great baby besides that she has her days and nights mixed up so she is sleeping all day and up all night...me and her have had to sleep downstairs so Cj can at least get a few hours of sleep every night before he needs to head off to work. Luckily my sisters are able to come over for a few hours in the day so i can take a nap. Breast feeding is still not going to great, but i am continuing to try. I pump and bottle feed most of the time though..at least she is getting fed :) We just went to her 2 week appointment and she is now 6 pounds 15 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She has put most of the weight on her cute little face..i love her double chin! I am finally starting to feel normal besides those moments where i get depressed and can't stop crying. I have heard that baby blues are normal and i am hoping that is isn't anything more serious! I hate feeling depressed, it ruins your whole day :( I LOVE my baby girl and feel so lucky to be her mommy!!

I can't believe that baby Ellie is already one week old! It goes by so fast. The first week has been a whirl wind of emotions but it has been amazing. Ellie is such a great baby and hardly ever cries. She has struggled with eating and putting on weight so we have had to make sure we feed her every 2 hours, which is exhausting, especially since breast feeding has not been going so great. Bottles are so much easier and she likes them so much better, but i haven't given up yet, so hopefully she will learn to like my boobs but since we have had to make sure she is putting on weight we havent had a choice but to give her a bottle :( Cj and I are running low on sleep but we still manage to find a way to keep going. We love kissing her all over and just laying with her. We are having so much fun so far and i hope it will get even better once i can get feeling better. I have still been sick and in an extreme amount of pain. Thank goodness Cj is still off work. Week one of parenting has been amazing and i am sure it just keeps getting better!

WOW!!! All i can say is that labor was a lot easier than i expected. It is the after pain and healing that hurts the worst!! Our day started on Monday night at 6:00 when we headed up to the hospital to get induced. When i arrived i was all ready dilated to 4 1/2 and my water was about to break. They hooked everything up and started the pitocin so labor would get going. After an hour or so the contractions started, but weren't strong enough for me to get an epidural....( i am terrified of needles) when i finally was dilated to about a 7 i couldn't take it anymore and I wanted the pain to go away!! I was so scared but the anesthesiologist did an amazing job and i actually loved the numb feeling that my legs felt, it was so cool..and with the pain gone i really got the chance to enjoy what was going on! Around 2 o'clock in the morning the nurse came in an said let's get a head start since she is really high still and start pushing . We pushed for about 30 minutes but then had to stop because Ellie's heart rate dropped. They had me tossing and turning trying to get her heart rate back up. They then had to put a breathing mask on me to try and get more oxygen to my little one. The nurse then thought that we should try pushing a little to see if that would help bring up her heart rate. With one push her heart rate jumped right back up and she was crowning... my doctor still hadn't arrived and my baby was about to come out!! The nurses had planned on me pushing for a few hours but Ellie decided to come out in a hurry!! While i laid there in stir ups, with Ellie crowning they told me i had to HOLD it so i could wait for the doctor :O are you crazy, hold it!! I held Ellie in the crowning position for about 20 minutes...it was so painful and hard. Finally my doctor arrived and with one little push Ellie slipped right out! It was the most amazing thing in the entire world to see her and know that me and Cj had made this beautiful little girl! We are so thankful for everyone's prayers and support through out these past 9 months!! We love you!

We had such an awesome 4th of July weekend and I am so sad that it is already over :( We started the day off at the Riverdale parade with Cj's family. I loved watching tayler and megan run out for candy and "ohhh" and "ahhh" at the cheerleaders. It makes me think of how Ellie will be in a few years. We then went to my grandpa's house for dinner with my family. It ended up being such a nice day and i love being with my family. During dinner i started to feel some not so "HOTT" cramps, but didn't really think much of it. We then went to the fireworks at Riverdale park and from there my cramps turned into contractions every 5-7 minutes ( at least i think they were contractions..i have never had them before) I thought we were going to have to leave and go to the hospital...but i wanted to tough it out..i think i was more scared of going to the hospital and have them tell me that it is nothing but FALSE labor. After a great firework show we went home and kept timing the painful contractions. I really just wanted to get some sleep, so i laid down and TRIED to fall asleep...with no luck i ended up getting in and out of the tub to help ease the pain. Oddly enough around 4 am the contractions stopped :( i have continued to have some every half hour or so but nothing like last night. I hope that my body will labor right when the time comes tomorrow!! All in all it was a great 4th of July weekend and i cant wait for next year's when i have a cute baby girl to drag along with us!

It's official..at 50 years old Michael Jackson has died. I can't say that i loved him but his music was amazing and is still something i listen to today. My friend Shari introduced me to the wonderful songs and dance moves of MJ when i was in about 5th grade, & from then on i was obsessed. In 9th grade we did our talent show dance to thriller, and actually learned the entire music video dance. As a senior in high we did our cheerleading routine to an MJ mix and wore white gloves! MJ will be missed but his music will live on forever!!

Camping at 37 weeks!!

We just got back from our first camping trip of the summer, and it was a BLAST!! We went up to a beautiful campsite near Monte Cristo and stayed there for a few days. Luckily the bad weather held out until about a few hours before we were supposed to leave. We rode the 4 wheelers ( when i got to ride them we were basically moving at 5 miles an hour...poor cj, but thanks for being so patient) everyone brought their guns so we could shoot, roasted marshmellows, and just had a great time being together! Being 37 weeks pregnant and up in the mountains was a challenge but I am so glad I was able to go. A few days before we left I was having contractions...but then they suddenly stopped so we decided i was still good to go and if by chance i went into labor on the trip we would just have to drive really fast to the hospital!! Thanks friends for such a fun trip, I am sure it will be a little while before we can go camping again!

We went to the doctors yesterday for another check up and everything looks good so far! Ellie now weighs 4 pounds 14 oz, and kept kicking the doctor while he was trying to get a good picture of her! We have now started to see the doctor once a week and next week he will be checking me to see how things are looking :) The final stretch is here and we are so excited to meet ellie!!

My Dancing Diva's!!

For the past 10 months i have been lucky enough to teach dance at Studio 48! Even though getting pregnant in the middle of it all and it making me extremely exhausted, i have loved every minute of it. I taught a 3-4 year old jazz/ballet class, which i LOVED and miss like crazy. 3-4 year old little girls are so funny and even though i had days where i wanted to pull my hair out i had so much fun with my "Babies". I also taught a 7-9 year old cheer class ( my wild girls), a 10-16 year old cheer class ( my mature girls lol), and a 10-16 year old Hip Hop class ( I have to say that this was my most trying class because of all of the different ages and i couldn't teach them moves that i wanted them to do because i was prego :( In the end though it turned out fine).

On May 16th we had our dance recital at Roy High school and i have to say that i was so proud of all of my classes. You get so nervous watching them all, and hoping that they do a good job with the routine that you have taught them. I have loved every minute of teaching and I can't wait to start again in the fall. If you want to get your little girl into dance Studio 48 is the place to go! Dallas Draper does an amazing job with that studio and everything is so professional!! It will be an amazing experience for anyone who takes there!!

These aren't the best pictures, but that is all our little piggy would give us today at the doctors. Ellie now weighs 4 pounds 7 oz...and is healthy but she didn't look so happy. She was giving us this SOUR face the whole time. I think we woke her up :( The doctor said that she looks great, so that is good! I had to have the strep B test done today ( YUCK) and then a shot because i tested positive for that RH negative thing...hopefully with this shot i wont have problems getting pregnant again. Besides getting the flu last night, everything is going great and I can't wait to have this baby. Although the more i read about birth the more freaked out i am...lol We will see how it goes!!

I am so proud of my little sister Bradi! On May 1st she graduated from Weber State with her Bachelors Degree is Social and Family Science! It was so cute to see my little 4 ft 11 in sister walking among all these giants in their robes. We could barley see her because she was so short in the crowd ha ha Bradi graduated with honors and is getting ready to move out to North Carolina to get her Matsers Degree!! She is only 20 years old mind you :O She is so amazing and I am so glad my entire family got to be there to support her and her accomplishment!! Way to go Boo!!

p.s. It was really weird that all the teachers dressed up like they were in a Harry Potter movie... Can't they make them wear desent looking robes!! ha ha

So this weekend we were at my grandparents house for a party and my mommy decided to take some fun pictures for me out in the yard!! I went to the doctors yesterday so they could check me and baby ellie and both of us look very good! Ellis is weighing in at 4 pounds and I am definitely feeling it in my back and tailbone!! She will be moving there at the end of the summer :( This school only accepts 15 new applicants a year for their program, and my little sister is one of them!! We had our targeted ultrasound today and we are happy to report that Ellie is growing very well. I was really nervous going into this appointment because it is always scary to think that something could be wrong with the sweet little baby growing inside of you! The doctor was very happy to see that she had all her toes, fingers, and her lips, as you can see below have completely formed. Her brain looks great and her heart is all put together and pumping very steadily. She did say that she has a very full and big bladder but reassured me that there was nothing wrong and it wasn't to big!

After looking at her sweet face I really think she looks like Cj...the nose is definitely the "KELSON" nose. The more i looked at her the more i thought she looked like Cj's little sister Karly...It will be really crazy to see what she looks like when she is finally here! We are so thankful and blessed that Ellie is healthy and happy!!

Yesterday Lise and I both worked half a day and then spent the rest of the day in SLC. We walked around Gateway, did some baby shopping and finally got Lise pants that would fit her and the Ellie Belly. We then ate dinner at the California Pizzeria and headed to the game. We were able to get the Bear to sign Lise's jersey and pose for a picture. To top off a great day the Jazz pulled out their 7th straight win!

Dont mind how crappy i look, i just got back from dance!!

Thats right her name will be ELLIE ANNE KELSON!! Please dont tell us if you don't like it because we really love it and have already started calling her ellie when we talk to her. Cj even has "Ellie Belly" time before we go to bed!! I love it :) i am 21 weeks and really feeling it. I might sound like a pansie but wow i hurt already. My spine aches, and i am having these pains called round ligiment pain in my lower abs and every time i move, cough, pee or stretch i have like mini contractions and they hurt :( I am also sick again with this crappy chest cold and can't seem to loose it!! besides that i have started to feel her little ninja kicks even better. Those little dancer legs are strong!! we have started to enjoy the rush of shopping for cute little girl clothes!! he he ok me a little more than Cj, but he really got into it the other day! We are so excited to have her come that we can hardly stand it!! This month we are going to start working on the room and trying to find a bedspread...any ideas on where to find a cute one? i really want a black and pink one but everything is brown and pink right now so my luck has been low!! any ideas would help!!

FACT: Fat begins to form under the skin. With reflexes now in place, the baby can suck, swallow, and blink.

I am 17 weeks prego and feeling so much better!! I only feel sick every once and a while and it is usually only when i have over done it. My little baby is kicking away and i felt it from the outside for the first time a few days ago. Cj has felt the baby kick once but every time Cj puts his hand on my belly the little thing gets stage fright and wont kick for him. It is so sad :(

I decided to switch doctors so i go in for my first appointment with my new docotor on Monday and hopefully we can find out the sex of the baby or at least find out a date when we can! I am so excited to find out if it is a boy or a girl!!

So this weekend Lise and I went to The Prairie Schooner to eat since we received a gift card for Christmas from my parents. My wife is a HUGE STEAK FAN! She can eat more steak than I can! But of course, she's eating for two lol, our baby is going to be steak hungry! We had a good time and had a free meal! =) It was fun to go out and spend time together.

I am 15 weeks pregnant!! WaHoo!! It seems like it is going by so slow but then so fast at the same time! I am finally getting over the throwing up and feeling yucky all the time. I am recently recovering from a severe case of Bronchitis :( and every now and then i spike extremely high fevers and my body hurts so bad that i just lay in the tub and cry!! The bathtub has become my new best friend that i see at least 2 times a day, if not more!! ha ha

Cj has been so wonderful with taking care of me along with my mommy...although Cj almost had to sleep on the couch one night because my coughing was so so bad that he couldn't get to sleep! sorry love :( Over all pregnancy has been tough and I am just sick of being SICK, but i know it is for a good reason so hopefully it gets better!

There are some nice things about being pregnant , like my boobs are the best they have ever looked!! ha ha and i can eat what I want and nobody can really say anything. But the best thing so far has to be when i felt the little baby kick the other night. I have been feeling little nudges and pokes but wasn't sure if that was the baby or not but then the other day i felt a kick that i knew was from him or her!! It was the best feeling ever!! I cant wait to start feeling more!!

Lise and I had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. We had so much fun spending time together and with friends and family! Yes it's true, me and cj are having a baby!! We are so excited and can't wait for the next 6 months to fly by so we can meet our sweet little baby. It came as a little shock when we found out that we were having a baby but we are so happy that it happened and wouldn't change it for anything! We have already heard the heart beat and had the first ultrasound. It was such an amazing experience to see my little baby moving around in my belly. It must have been drinking a red bull because it was kicking and moving it's arms like crazy. The doctor told me that's what could be causing me to be really sick on top of the beautiful morning sickness!! I cant wait to find out if it's a boy or girl so i can start shopping for all the fun things!! WE ARE SO EXCITED!! :)

Lise and I had a great time with her friends at an Ugly sweater Christmas party over the weekend. We had a great time hanging out, playing Wii, talking, playing games, and trading white elephant gifts. It was fun to see Lise get together with all her friends and just have a fun time catching up. I personally had a great time dressing up in my sexy vest with my Christmas tie. I am now addicted to the Wii air hockey game, it was so much fun! This was our White Elephant gift at Cj's family Christmas party! I got the idea from two of my friends at our Christmas work party ( thanks Megan and Harmony) and i have to say that it was a big hit! I even framed it and had Cj sign it.........it read " Think of me often xoxo Clint Kelson". ha ha It was so much fun watching the gift go round and round and watching as people got excited when it came to them becasue it was wrapped so beautifully and it did look like a great gift. In the end Cj's cousins wife Trystin got it and laughed so hard as she opend up this HOTT, STEAMY picture of my husband!! By the way he really looks like this underneath his clothes!! It was such a fun party and i am so glad that we got a good laugh at Cj's expense!! ha ha

Nothing Like the Holidays!

So last night me and Lise decided to go to the movies. We saw Nothing like the Holidays. It was a really funny Christmas movie, had a great story and we found it very entertaining! It was fun to go out on Monday night to catch a movie, I dont know that we ever have before. I cant believe that Christmas is just next Thursday, its come so fast, I wish that we had another month before Christmas! We've had a fun time catching up on Christmas movies though, we still have more to watch but so far we've seen Home Alone 1 & 2, Santa Clause 1 & 2, The Holiday, Nothing like the Holidays, and Elf, and of course we'll be watching Christmas Vacation, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and some others! So a couple of weeks ago Lise and I decided to put our Christmas Tree up early this year since we both love Christmas. We had a good time putting up our tree and decorating. We're planning to do 25 days of Christmas, doing some kind of Christmas activity, whether going to Temple Square, decorating cookies, watching Christmas movies, donating to charity, Christmas parties and being with family! We're so excited for this Christmas, our first living together!

This Halloween was so much fun! We went over to to Kari's house to go trick-or-treating with the kids and i have to say that it made Cj baby crazy!! It really made him want his own little monster to take around...maybe next year :) Megan was super woman, Tayler was Hannah Montana, and baby jace was the cutest little monkey!! Jake was a Ninja and Madi was a Gorilla...Brado is at the age where he is too cool to dress up, but he still was a sweet big brother and came trick-or-treating with his brothers and sister!!

We then went to my grandma's where we always have home made chicken noodle soup, chili, breaksticks, and wassle...It was really weird this year because all of my brothers and sisters are too old to go out and trick or treat. It made me feel so freakin old... :( It was so great to see all of my family. I have the funnest aunts and i love all my little cousins!! Halloween was a blast but i have to agree with Cj i want my own little monster to dress up and take trick or treating!!!

We are back from VEGAS!! It was so nice to get away but I have to say that it wasn't the best vacation we have ever taken :( My poor little Cj got food poisoning (McDonalds Chicken Sandwhich) extremely bad and we ended up spending a whole day locked away in the hotel room while cj kept his head in the toilet. He did manage to feel good enough to go to the Criss Angel Cirque du Soliel show, which was a total let down as well :( After seeing KA, O, and Phantom of the Opera i was so excited to see this show, especially since Wade Robson was the choreographer, but in the end i really was disappointed in the whole thing!! We gambled a little here and there, and i got pretty good at the Roulette table but it was hard to focus on the game with all those hott ladies dancing on the tables...NOT!! Seriously there was this one chick that had to be somebodys grandma that was up there dancing in her bra and panties!! it was nasty :O

Overalll it was really nice to get away but we definitly will have to take antoher trip to vegas to make up for this one!!

We're off to VeGaS!

Our VeGaS VaCaTiOn is finally here. We leave today after work! We are going down with two couples and looking forward to having a great time! We are staying in St. George tonight and then we'll be in VeGaS tomorrow morning until Monday evening. We'll be staying for the first time in the Luxor Hotel, and while we are there we'll be seeing the Criss Angel Believe show with Cirque Du Soleil. We'll also be doing some shopping, eating at some fun restaurants like The Cheese Factory, Benihana, and enjoying some warmer weather! =) We'll be sure to post some pics of our fun VeGaS VaCaTiOn when we get back!

Good times, good times! I had so much fun this weekend hanging out with my girly friends at Bostons!! We went to dinner just to catch up and see what everyone was up to and we ended up having a little bit more fun than planned! Kristi licked my face, candace got an extra large drink to start off the night and we all just BS'ed all night long!! I am so lucky to have such great girlfriends. We were all so close in high school and we promised to stay that way long after. Going on 4 years of graduation alot of us are married, have kids, going to school, or have moved away, but we still have dinner once a month to catch up. I sometimes dont see my friends for weeks or months and as soon as we get together it feels like we have never been apart!! I love my girls!!

For our date night this week we went to Chili's and had the best dinner ever!! And then went to the Movies! We decided to see that movie Eagle Eye with Shia LaBeouf or however you spell his name. We had heard mixed reviews about the movie but we went into it open minded! It was jam packed with action and ended nicley. Would i say it was the best movie i have ever seen...No. (The notebook is the best movie i have ever seen) Would i recommend it to my neighbor...Yes. I totally suggest seeing this movie. It has a great start, middle, and end and is just a good movie to watch!! If you ever need movie advice give me and CJ a buzz, i think we see almost every movie out there, we are total MOVIE BUFFS!!

I am sure that many of you woke up to the same crazy morning that me and cj did :) Snow on the ground, snow in the air, snow everywhere! I cant believe that it has snowed this much and it is only October 12th! I am so not ready for winter to be here, i want to enjoy a little bit more fall. Ok, to be honest i hate the winter and i am really very angry that there is snow on the ground, i want to cry like a little girl! Please let the fall come back and let this be just a freak snow storm!! Not to mention that since we have DISH we cant watch TV!! AHHHHHHHH, i hate the snow!!

My 25th Birthday!

My wonderful wife treated me like a King on my birthday! It all started out by waking up to waffles and eggs for breakfast before I headed out to work. She even decorated the house with fun "Happy Birthday" signs and balloons. She had 13 bags which spelled out Happy Birthday and without me really being much help to tell her what I wanted, she was able to come up with things I needed and wanted but never even asked for! Later that night we went out to dinner at the amazing Olive Garden which was fantastic. Then we picked up a movie snack my mom made for us and then we went to the Megaplex to see Ghost Town. It was one of the BEST movies I've seen in a long time, and we both really really loved it. It was so funny! (If you like The Office, it's has that kind of humor). I just wanted to thank my beautiful wife for a great birthday, I appreciate all the effort she put into making it a memorable birthday! I love you!

25 Years old!! WOW!!

A long, long, time ago, 25 years to be exact. Ann & Jeff waited patiently for the arrival of their first son. After having two beautiful girls, lets say their names are...umm...Kari and Kaycee, they couldn't wait to throw a boy into the mix. After being pregnant for nine months Ann couldn't wait to get this wild child out!

That special time came for this sweet little boy to be born on October 10th at 7:59 pm. He weighed in at 7 pounds exactly and was 20 1/2 inches long! He had bright blue eyes (that's my favorite thing about him), a sweet smile, and soft skin. Cj was a great baby and has grown into an even better man. He now has rough man skin that shows he works hard, a smile that lets me know everything will be ok, and a look with those blue eyes that says " I love you". He is now 6 feet tall, and weighs in around 175. Much has changed in the past 25 years, but he is still that sweet little boy that i will love forever!!

Through Cj's 25 years here on earth he has managed to get in a lot of trouble, make some great friends, graduate high school, go on a 2 year mission to Oaxaca, Mexico, find a great job, and marry the prettiest girl EVER....that's ME!! ha ha JK He truly is a remarkable guy and i am so glad that i am the one who gets to spend the other 3 quarters of his life with him.

Happy 25th Birthday to my AMAZING hubby CJ! i love you so much and even though a quarter of your life is gone, you still have a lot left to live :) ha ha ha what am i saying...what i meant was

HOLY COW YOU ARE OLD!!

As most of you know i work for the BEST photographer ever, so i get to see so many amazing pictures every day. I learn so much from Lindsay just by looking at her pictures. She is sooooo GOOD! So when Kaycee asked me to take some family pictures for her i thought it would be fun to try some things out that i have seen Lindsay do. WOW, it is so much harder than you think, but so much fun at the same time! And it helps that the Dance family is HOTT!! Football Season!

So it's that time of the year again, Football! Of course it's Fall and Lise and I both love this time of year. Halloween, the chili weather that brings hot chocolate, cuddling in blankets and wearing sweaters and then Christmas! But for the time being it's Football season, time to attend our annual BYU football game. Last year Lise and I were able to go see three games, Eastern Washington, TCU and Utah. This year we are planning to go and who knows, if the season keeps us undefeated, we may even be looking at traveling to a BCS Bowl game, how fun would that be!? Anyway, for the time being, GO COUGS!

8-7-08 We became MR and MRS Kelson =) It was such a fun day. It seemed so long at the time but now looking back it went by so fast! We had been saving and preparing for this day for a long time, and now its over with, we've even just recently celebrated our 1 month anniversary! Shalise's boss Lindsay took some amazing pictures along with some of her photographers. Lise looked amazingly beautiful as you can see and things are going great!
